Roslyn Onickel, MA, LLC

Trauma Psychotherapist & Art Therapist

You have realized you no longer want to feel stupid, depressed, anxious, and ashamed of who you are.

You’re done making yourself small.

You’re done being a people pleaser.

You’re done fighting to be “normal.”

You’re exhausted from others' expectations of you, and you’re ready to honor your unique needs and preferences. You are ready for transformation and want to figure out the best way to move forward so that you can leave the past behind. You have started to imagine yourself saying “no” without guilt, being in control of your life, and trusting your authentic self, but you have been questioning yourself and are unsure how to move forward.

While change, even positive change, seems overwhelming and scary, you possess an array of strengths and resiliency that have helped you get here. I am here to support you in watering the seeds of change you want in your life. Together, we will create a safe space to honor your authentic self and develop the tools and skills you need to provide for your own well-being.

I believe that people are shaped by their early experiences and that sometimes words for our stories can be hard to find. In our work together, we will explore your experience holistically through art therapy and mindfulness to unburden past pain, enhance your confidence, evolve your thoughts, and grow your resiliency. I offer a warm, witty, and passionate space for you to explore yourself fully. Connecting with your inner wisdom and learning to trust yourself will free you to make choices that honor your best life.
