Trauma Psychotherapist + ADHD Specialist
When you’re around others, you wear a mask and pretend everything is okay. Beneath the surface, you feel a churning of discomfort, disconnect, and detachment from the people and the world around you. Sometimes, you feel so internally overwhelmed that you go numb. When you’re alone, the psychic pain sets in and your whole being surges with anxiety. You feel lost and like you’re drowning. The persistent feelings of loneliness and isolation are soul crushing. Life has lost its spark, and you are alone in the dark. You can’t calm down because being calm means you’re too vulnerable. You can’t imagine a different future.
If any of this sounds familiar, I can assure you there is a potential for a different future, and you’re taking steps in that direction just by considering therapy.Under the hopelessness, there is a wisdom within you that knows exactly what you need, and I am here as a guide to not only support you in self-discovery but also in healing the wounds that brought you here.
You deserve to feel safe and grounded in your mind, body, and soul. Together we can cultivate a safe space to explore what this means for you and how best to get there. Through a humanistic and holistic approach, we can use compassionate curiosity to tap into your innate intuition and creativity. I believe you already possess the power you need to make desired changes in your life, and I can support you in accessing your existing potential through trauma-informed mindfulness practices, psychodynamics, and psychoeducation.
My Core Beliefs
I believe therapy is a collaborative process in which we each offer our own knowledge, expertise, and wisdom in service of the healing process.
I believe you have innate autonomy, creativity, and power with which you can catalyze the growth and change you seek.
I believe your existence is inextricably entangled in space, time, and the natural world, providing an inherent ecological and cosmic foundation of meaning and purpose.
