Drew Hauk, LLMSW-Clinical, CCTP

Trauma Psychotherapist

You found yourself lost in a fog; trapped in a seemingly endless, painful cycle you find difficult, and nearly impossible to see through. This deeply infused pain has begun to take a toll on you, leading you to feel confused and overwhelmed, adding to the heaviness of your daily life. This weight you bear has begun to burden your mind, body, and spirit, negatively impacting meaningful relationships and preventing you from discovering the healthiest version of yourself. Taking that next step toward healing or accepting support may seem futile or incite a feeling of inadequacy, but with each step, you are taking a leap of faith toward nurturing your life.

Navigating our path through life with the barrage of stressors, expectations, stimuli, and traumas can lead us to feel drained, overwhelmed, and detached from our true, authentic self. Discovering your aligned self is no easy endeavor, however, this journey offers profound growth, clarity, and the ultimate sense of purpose that makes every challenge worthwhile. Embedded within our body and mind are remnants of the past, entangled with our current sense of self, keeping us stuck in past narratives that no longer serve us. Therapy embodies a unique space that allows for the opportunity to courageously explore all parts of yourself safely and with support. By unraveling our past and the present moment with compassion and acceptance, we can learn to see ourselves in a new light, leading to a life in which we can live in harmony.

Together we will uncover and connect with unconscious narratives and patterns that shape your life. In addition to more traditional therapy, we will invite a holistic approach, integrating alternative therapeutic practices such as somatic therapy, breathwork, parts work, sound healing, expressive arts, and visualization. This arena of exploration embraces the wisdom of ancient medians for healing, integrating and incorporating knowledge from external experiences of non-ordinary states of consciousness, and working with other alternative medicine practitioners who honor healing in a variety of ways. Together, we will create a healing network and space for you to freely explore and integrate inceptions of your experiences.

My Core Beliefs

1. I believe alongside all the trauma and suffering, innately resides an ideal, authentic, and whole self every person is worthy of finding.

2. I believe healing and self-growth is a non-linear commitment that foundationally, includes meeting yourself where you are at with courage and compassion.

3. I believe healing comes to fruition when we nurture all parts of the self, bringing our entire spirit into a harmonious symphony.
